I was told by a tire shop that I needed new tires, so I planned to have them put on when I had my oil change. After the tech helped me decide which tires (he hadn't looked at my vehicle yet), I scheduled the whole shebang - oil change, new tires, alignment...and a bad tire sensor that I'd already replaced relatively recent. I dropped off my car on the scheduled day and went home. Later, I got a call from the service tech and he asked why I was wanting new tires because my current tires were fine. We did NOT replace the tires or do the alignment. I appreciated the call and the honesty that I didn't need to spend that much money just yet. They could have gone ahead and changed them and done the alignment without saying a word. Also, he checked to see if the sensor was still under warranty and it was! WIN!
