I purchased my 2025 Buick Encore GX on Dec 20th. As I was driving to a doctor appointment on Dec 23rd, a light came on stating "system failure." Moments later, another message appeared, " brake failure, brakes adjusted so you may drive up to 62 mph." I was thinking, wth, a new car & this happens!!! After the initial panic of what to do, I had to stop at a red light on 3900 S 700 W. I had taken my Suzuki to Salt Lake Valley Buick GMC for servicing over the years & I was close. Rikki was my service person. He took my information, drove my car into the garage & said since it's holiday season, my car probably wouldn't get looked at until January 2nd. I was lucky as this past Monday, Rikki was able to have a technician look at my Encore. Apparently, there was a computer anomaly as all the systems were working correctly. The technician did a test drive & no lights appeared. I got my car back Dec 31st. The best way to start my new year. Rikki was great, very informative & personable. I would give a shout out to the technician, but have no name. I'm very pleased with Salt Lake Valley Buick GMC.
